Canadian artist Rob Gonsalves creates masterful optical illusion paintings in which he injects a sense of magic. It takes at least a second glance to understand the multiple stories they tell.
During his childhood, Gonsalves developed an interest in drawing from imagination using various media. By age 12, his awareness of architecture grew and he began to paint renderings of imagined buildings.
Gonsalves started to create his first surrealist paintings after he found out about Salvador Dali and Rene Magritte, who obviously left their mark on his amazing work.
