Metamorphoses – Human Bodies Hidden Into Natural Landscapes

Metamorphoses is a collaborative project between two photographers (Laila Pregizer and Uwe Schmida) and two highly skilled body painters (Jörg Düsterwald and Léonie Gené) which explore the integration of human beings in natural scenery.

Their project consists of taking photographs of people whose bodies have been painted so that they camouflage easily in various natural settings, becoming one with the landscape and virtually disappearing in nature.
