Andrew Marttila is a photographer and self-described ‘unrelenting animal enthusiast’ based in Philadelphia who specialises in capturing charming and expressive portraits of adorable cats.
Andrew was deathly allergic to cats and dogs since birth until the age of 22, when he decided to overcome his allergy by building an immunity through exposure to these animals. Since then, his adoration for these beautiful creatures led to a career as a pet photographer.
Besides portraits, Andrew created a series of macro photos depicting the hypnotic beauty of cats’ eyes, showing in minute details the impressive range of colors and features of this creature’s iris and pupil.
