Hubcap creatures: Artist Transforms Old Hubcaps Into Amazing Animal Sculptures

UK-based artist Ptolemy Elrington turns recycles old wheel hubcaps into amazing animal sculptures which he calls ‘Hubcap Creatures’.

Elrington likes to work with reclaimed materials ‘to show that what is one person’s junk is another man’s treasure’.
And he does it very well. For something that’s made from trash, he earns pretty well- his sculptures cost anywhere between $300 to over $15,000.

At the moment, Elrington is working with a variety of materials including shopping trolleys, scrap metal and car wheel trims which he reshapes into a variety of life forms.
