New York-based artist Calvin Seibert creates stunning geometric sandcastles that blur the line between art and architecture.
His impressive sand structures are built with the help of only a few, minimalist tools, including a paint bucket, homemade plastic trowels, and water.
Seibert’s sculptures are powerfully influenced by Brutalist architecture, but he also explores other architectural styles, creating sand structures that resemble futuristic cityscapes.
Sadly, due to the ephemeral nature of his creations, all that remain of Seibert’s buildings are the photographs that he takes before nature destroy them.
