Colorful Geometric Patterns on the Floors Of Abandoned Buildings by Javier de Riba

When it comes to street art, we principally think of graffiti and wall murals. But Javier de Riba, a Barcelona-based visual artist, takes a different approach regarding it.

Using spray paint and stencils, he adorns the dusty floors of abandoned buildings with bright, tiled-like geometric patterns, bringing to life the degraded architecture.

Below is a selection of de Riba’s painted floor installations, you can see more on his website and Instagram.

Hand-sprayed prints reproducing his artistic interventions are available in his Shop.
