Canada, Victoria-based artist Debra Bernier, uses natural materials such as driftwood, clay, shells and her rich imagination to create captivating sculptures which represent the spirits of nature.
Her pieces are a reflection both of her life, family, and children, as well as of the eternal and sacred connection that all living creatures share with nature.
“When I work with driftwood, I never start with a blank canvas. Each piece of driftwood is already a sculpture, created by the caresses of the waves and wind” Debra told Bored Panda.
