100% Paper: 3D Geometric Sculptures By Ryan Filipski

Austin-based multi-disciplined graphic designer Ryan Filipski has created ‘100% Paper’, a series of 3D geometric sculptures made entirely out of cardstock paper.

‘I am currently using paper to explore three-dimensional geometric forms. Using the technique of folded paper and the principles of origami, I design angular and planar forms to create highlights and shadows that protrude and extend through the confines of the canvas to create a dynamic, three-dimensional viewing experience’, the artist states.
