The 2016 Michigan Water Color Exhibition

The 2016 Michigan Water Color Exhibition opened on April 30 at the Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson, MI. Bruce Bobick, our juror for this exhibition, opened the day by giving an informative talk to a packed house. There are 70 marvelous pieces in this show. t's a great opportunity to see an incredible variety of water-based paintings from the top Michigan artists. The Ella Sharp Museum is such a great venue for this event and we are thankful that they have had us back for another year. The exhibition will be there through June 25, 2016. Afterwards, a select group of works, including all the award winners, will continue their travels around hte state in our Travelng Exhibition. The Michigan Water Color Society relies on donations to award exceptional work at our yearly exhibition. We are currently accepting DONATIONS of any size, so we may continue to recognize and encourage Michigan artists to paticipate in the advancement of contemporary art.
